Randolph Engineering

Turning their American dream into reality engineers Jan Waszkiewicz and Stanley Zaleski founded Randolph Engineering in 1972.

At the beginning the focus of Randolph Engineering was upon the design and manufacturing of optical tools and machinery for trade with a clear vision of using advanced engineering principles to build the foundations of their business.

As the company began to grow, Randolph Engineering changed direction and focussed their attention upon the design and manufacturing of specialist eyewear, using their own specially developed tools and machinery.

A real milestone in the history of Randolph Engineering Sunglasses was in 1982 when Randolph became the US Department of Defence main contractor for military style aviation flight eyewear.

Throughout the 1980’s Randolph Engineering became a leading supplier of ophthalmic eyewear, sunglasses and other niche optical products to various US Government agencies.

By the early 1990’s Randolph Engineering began selling to the public, expanding their high quality product offerings to include prescription frames, shooting eyewear and sunglasses.
